Pediatric Nephrology & Congenital Kidney Diseases

This track focuses on kidney diseases affecting children and adolescents, with emphasis on early diagnosis and long-term kidney health. Sessions will cover congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT), pediatric chronic kidney disease (CKD), inherited and rare renal disorders, and growth-related complications. Experts will discuss advances in prenatal screening, genetic testing, and pediatric biomarkers that support early intervention and improved outcomes.Key topics include pediatric dialysis modalities, kidney transplantation, immunosuppressive management, and prevention of disease progression in young patients. Special attention will be given to nutritional management, growth and development, and psychosocial support for children and their families. The track also highlights family-centered and multidisciplinary care approaches.A dedicated focus will be placed on the transition from pediatric to adult nephrology care, addressing continuity of treatment and long-term follow-up.
